INGREDIENTS
- 225g self raising flour
- 0.5 teaspoon salt
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 150g honey
- 5 tablespoons vegetable oil (sunflower or rapeseed)
- 1 tsp white wine vinegar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 6 tbsp water
RECIPE METHOD
- Preheat oven to Gas mark 5 (190c / 375F)
- Combine the flour, soda and salt
- Pour in the honey, oil, vinegar, vanilla extract and water and combine thoroughly until smooth
- Scrape into 12 cupcake cases and bake for 20 minutes until a skewer comes out clean
- Allow to cool before frosting
