Healthy Sugar Free 2 Ingredient Flatbread Wrap Tortilla Recipe
Only 2 ingredients and no yeast super soft flatbreads. These easy soft tortilla wraps are ready in minutes, no need to buy them ever again!
Most of the soft tortilla wraps we can buy in the UK not only contain sugar, but also many other processed ingredients so they aren't healthy at all!
Just use equal weights of natural plain yogurt and self-raising flour.
These 2 ingredients mix together into a beautiful soft dough, easy to roll out, no need to rest it.
I find it easiest to use a blunt knife to stir the dough together.
Tip the flatbread dough out onto a floured surface, knead a few times and cut it into 4 pieces.
Roll out to half a centimetre thick, about 20 centimetres in diameter. This recipe makes nice large flatbreads!
Each one is about 200 calories, perfect for stuffing with your favourite filling for lunch, like this egg salad recipe, as a quick pizza base, as a naan bread with a curry, for quesadillas, for burritos, for enchiladas, sliced and toasted for dips, brushed with garlic butter to make garlic bread, the uses are endless!
These tortilla wraps are soft and pliable, make sure the pan you use is quite hot, adjusting the temperature as you go if it begins to smoke.
You'll see they are done when they look this this, soft and risen with light brown spots.
This time I simply stuffed them with grated cheese and sweet sautéed onions for quick quesadillas.
They will keep for 3 days, when you want to use them just reheat for a few seconds in the microwave and they will become soft and pliable again.
I hope you enjoy these easy flatbread wraps!
