Homemade Sugar Free Chocolate Chip Cookies
Made with almond flour, these cookies are easy and delicious with no refined sugar! They are adaptable and can be made with either gluten free flour or plain flour.
The ground almonds perfectly complement the dark chocolate in these cookies! These sugar free choc chip cookies are not overly sweet, with delicate flavours from the 100% dark chocolate chips.
We used 100% dark chocolate for the chocolate chips - this contains no sweeteners at all, only cocoa butter and cocoa powder! For a slightly sweeter option, try using our sugar free dark chocolate recipe, which only contains 3 ingredients.
First cream together the butter and honey, then whisk in the eggs and stir in the flours to form a soft dough.
Chop the chocolate bar into small chunks about half a cm width and fold them in gently.
Use a dessertspoon to scoop the mix and place onto your baking tray, flattening slightly. You should get about 16 cookies in total.
Bake these in batches for 13 minutes until very lightly golden.
They will be quite soft when they first come out of the oven so use a spatula to place them onto a cooling rack.
When completely cooled, store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
They are beautiful dipped into milk, tea or coffee, perfect when you want a little chocolate cookie fix!
I hope you enjoy this recipe!
