Sugar Free Sweet Chilli Sauce Recipe
Sweet chilli sauce recipe that is sugar-free, zingy, spicy, zesty and delicious, pairs well with almost anything! Use for spreading, dipping, marinading!
I have been hankering after a zingy sweet chilli sauce recipe for ages!
I love this version with smoked paprika, pineapple and mustard as it gives even more tropical depth to the classic flavours of sweet, sour and spicy all at the same time!
1 chilli = mild
2 chillies = medium
3 chillies = hot
I used a Nutribullet blender for this sauce but if you have a hand blender it will still work, you'll just need to chop everything up first.
Blend until smooth, then simmer to reduce for about 25 minutes. Watch the video for the consistency, it's perfect for a sugar free dipping sauce for chips and crisps :)
This sweet chilli sauce will happily keep in the fridge for a couple of weeks, or you can fill a sterilised jar and simmer for 10 minutes submerged in boiling water, then it will keep for 6 months unopened.
This recipe yields about 400 ml.
The sweet chilli sauce was wonderful on these burgers with melted cheese and fried onion!
I also made the these sugar free soft bread rolls for our burgers!
